An Evening by the River

I saw you sitting
alone that night
Down by the river
mirroring sky
Smell of wild
roses
filled deeply the
air
I was delighted
I met you there
Wind blew through
the cherry trees
Your hair was
messed
by gentle breeze
Your white linen shirt
had few buttons undone
Revealing your skin
with such beautiful tan
You saw me and
smiled
and from your
fixed glance
All I felt was just
passion and
romance
Surrounded by
the peonies
You kissed me
lightly
on my lips
And then with ease
and your own grace
You kissed me
lightly
on my rosy face
Wind blew gently
through your hair
You looked so
handsome
sitting down there
Just one single glance
like by a fate
I knew in an
instant
you're my soulmate
